Taking place on December 28th, 29th, and 30th, this three-day event is perfect for families, history buffs, and anyone who loves a little winter magic.

Ride Through History

Climb aboard the Speeder Cars and take a thrilling ride into the past. These compact, motorized vehicles once played a vital role in railroad maintenance and offer a one-of-a-kind glimpse into life on the tracks.

 

Hands-On Adventure

Ever wondered what itโ€™s like to operate a hand car? Nowโ€™s your chance! Hop on and give it a try as part of the festivalโ€™s Hand Car Experiences โ€“ fun and physical!

 

Steam Locomotive Demonstrations

Prepare to be amazed as the famous No.119 steam locomotive comes to life! These demonstrations highlight the power and engineering brilliance of the steam era and are sure to captivate visitors of all ages.

 

Junior Ranger Activities

For the younger adventurers, the festival offers interactive Junior Ranger Activities, blending fun and education. Kids can complete engaging tasks to earn their very own Junior Ranger badges โ€“ a memorable keepsake from a day well spent.

Stokes Nature Center is located about one mile east of the Logan Canyon entrance at 2696 East US Hwy 89, on the south side of the highway and the Logan Riverโ€™s south bank.

 

๐Ÿšถ Parking and Trail Info

  • ๐Ÿš— Park along the highway at the Logan River Trail entrance gate (south side of Hwy 89) or across the street near the Cache National Forest sign (north side of Hwy 89).
  • From there, enjoy a 10-minute walk ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ along the scenic Logan River Trail gravel path to reach the center. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ and plan your time accordingly.
