Family First Saturday!

Mark your calendars for a deliciously educational experience on Saturday, February 1st, as the USU Museum of Anthropology teams up with the Aggie Chocolate Factory for their monthly Family First Saturday event!

This month’s theme, “The History of Chocolate,” promises to be a treat for all ages.

Bring your family to Room 252 of Old Main on the Utah State University campus between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to dive into the fascinating story of how chocolate evolved into the candy we all know and love today.

What to expect:

  • Learn the origins and history of chocolate through engaging displays.
  • Learn how chocolate is made, from bean to bar.
  • Taste-test delectable chocolate treats created by the experts at the Aggie Chocolate Factory.

Best of all, admission is free, making this a fun and budget-friendly way to spend the day with your family!

Whether you’re a chocolate enthusiast or simply looking for a unique local event, this is one you won’t want to miss.

Join the Logan Kiwanis Club for an engaging session featuring Utah State University (USU) Women's Soccer Head Coach, Manny Martins, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.

The event will be held at the Logan Country Club, located at 710 N. 1500 E., Logan.

This gathering is open and free to the public.For those interested in enjoying a buffet lunch, tickets are available for $11 (plus fees) and must be purchased by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025.

Coach Martins, who was appointed as USU's head soccer coach in May 2021, has significantly elevated the program's success.

Under his leadership, the Aggies secured back-to-back Mountain West Conference titles in 2023 and 2024, achieved national rankings, and competed in the NCAA Tournament.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Martins was honored as the 2023 Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year and led the 2024 United Soccer Coaches Pacific Region Coaching Staff of the Year.
