🎓 “Was the hallway always this short? Was the drinking fountain always this low?” In a move that’ll hit you right in the nostalgic feels, high school seniors took a stroll down memory lane—literally—by walking the halls of their old elementary schools (and promptly realizing everything is, in fact, tiny). Desks? Tiny. 📚 Read the full heart-melty moment in The Herald Journal. Bonus points if you cry a little and blame it on “allergies.” |

Well folks, it’s official: the largest mansion in Utah—and possibly the most magical—is going up for auction right here in Hyrum.
That’s right. Hyrum. Not Beverly Hills. Not Monaco. Hyrum. We’re talking 40,000 square feet of pure imagination: The estate sits on 154 acres, comes with a 16-car garage (because of course it does), and features themed bedrooms so decked out they’ll make your kids permanently disappointed in regular hotels. 💰 Opening bid? A casual $8 million (pennies, really). The auction starts June 5, so if you’ve been hoarding Disney pins and startup stock… this might be your moment. ✨ Wishes do come true… especially in Hyrum. |

🍕 Local Business Spotlight: What do a mission trip, a wheelchair, a couple of VW buses, and a mutual love of pizza have in common? The answer is Hungry Howie’s Pizza in Logan—and the even better story behind its local owners, Andy Livermore and Trevor Lind.
Andy (from Pocatello) and Trevor (from Idaho Falls) first met in 2009 at the Mission Training Center in Provo, Utah, both headed for Arizona and unknowingly toward the best pizza ever.
Spoiler alert: it was Hungry Howie’s—home of the legendary flavored crust. What they didn’t know then? That their journey would include building a lifelong friendship and a full-blown pizza empire right here in Cache Valley.
🎓 After their missions, Andy faced a life-changing challenge. A serious accident left doctors unsure he’d ever walk again.
But with encouragement from Trevor—who grew up with a mom in a wheelchair and knew firsthand that joy isn’t tied to mobility—Andy pushed through months of rehab.
In what can only be described as a miracle, he regained feeling and learned to walk again.
Back in Logan, they became roommates at Utah State University, bonded over Jeeps, snow skiing, water skiing, VW cars, and—you guessed it—pizza.
Oh, and fun fact: they also share the same birthday. (We’d like to imagine their parties involve candles in cheesy bread.)
Andy graduated in Accounting, Trevor in Marketing, and together they launched their dream: opening Hungry Howie’s Pizza Logan in 2018.
Since then, they’ve been slinging hot pies, serving up kindness, and delivering joy with every slice. You’ll still find them working the counter, talking to customers, and living proof that community and carbs go hand-in-hand.
👏 So next time you’re craving a pizza that packs flavor right into the crust, stop by Hungry Howie’s on 1400 North.
Say hi to Andy and Trevor, ask about their Aggie days, and let them whip up something amazing.
Because when life gives you obstacles… these guys built a pizza place. 🍕💛
