local business spotlight...

🧸 Local Business Spotlight: Saranoni – Built on Love, Growing with Purpose

What started as a way to pay for their daughter’s surgery has blossomed into one of Cache Valley’s most heartwarming success stories.

Saranoni, founded by Nathan and Emily Peterson, began with a single ultra-soft blanket—and has grown into a nationally loved brand known for luxury, comfort, and compassion.

Now located at 1616 S. 1000 W., Suite 120 in Logan, Saranoni offers more than just blankets—they offer comfort with a cause.

The company donates to several charities and remains committed to giving back, staying true to the values that sparked its beginning.

Whether you’ve wrapped a baby in one of their lush blankets or gifted one to a loved one, chances are you’ve felt the Saranoni difference.

And with their new Logan location, it’s easier than ever to shop local and support a business that puts family and community first.

🛒 Visit them in person or online at saranoni.com

Because sometimes, a blanket is more than a blanket—it’s a beginning.

what do I do...

🎲 "Mystery Meal Night" – but with a twist!

Instead of eating out, turn your kitchen into a restaurant roulette. Here’s how it works:

  1. Each family member secretly picks one ingredient (within reason—no sardines and ice cream combos, please).

  2. Put the ingredients in a bag or box and do a big reveal.

  3. As a family, create a meal using only those ingredients (plus pantry basics).

  4. Bonus twist: Assign “restaurant roles”—a host, chef, waiter, and food critic.

It’s hilarious, collaborative, and great for picky eaters to try new things they helped "invent."

Plus, you’ll never forget the time you turned hot dogs, mango, and tortillas into gourmet night.

on the lighter side...

📩 So... how are we doing? Be honest—we can take it (we’ve survived Logan winters and teenagers with driver’s permits).

We’ve been playing around with different formats, like a middle schooler testing hairstyles before picture day.

Got a favorite section? Something you always skip? Tell us!

Hit reply and let us know what you love, what you want more of, or what you wish would magically disappear forever (gently, please).

See you around town!
