📆 The “Summer Sync” Calendar Hack

Before school’s out, host a 15-minute family calendar sync—yes, even with the little ones. Grab a whiteboard, big wall calendar, or even just butcher paper and markers.

Here’s the magic formula:

• 🗓️ Let each kid pick 1 “must-do” activity (ice cream date, zoo trip, sleepover).

• 🎯 Add known camps, sports, family trips.

• 🌈 Leave open days intentionally—mark them as “Slow Days” or “Yes Days” (aka, yes to splash pads, movie mornings, or blanket forts).

• 💬 Add a “talk bubble” space for each week where kids (and parents) can jot down something they’d like to do, try, or learn.

✨Why it’s a game-changer:

• It gives kids structure without overscheduling.

• Reduces the dreaded “I’m booooored” syndrome.
